Terms & Conditions

1. General

Schontek Electronics (hereinafter "the Company") is an independent distributor of electronic components. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by any of the manufacturers whose products we distribute. All trademarks, brand names, and logos are the property of their respective owners.

2. Quotations & Pricing

• All quotations are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
• Prices are quoted in USD unless another currency is explicitly specified.
• The Company reserves the right to adjust pricing due to market fluctuations or supply chain changes before order confirmation.
• Bulk order discounts are available upon request and subject to quantity and availability.

3. Orders & Payment

• All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. The Company may refuse or cancel orders at its discretion.
• Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer (T/T), PayPal (for orders under $5,000), and Letter of Credit (L/C) for orders above $50,000.
• New customers may be required to provide a deposit of 30-100% before shipment.
• Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched unless credit terms have been pre-approved.

4. Product Authenticity & Quality

• All parts supplied are 100% authentic and new unless explicitly described as surplus, refurbished, or used.
• The Company performs incoming quality inspection on all parts including visual inspection, lot/date code verification, and functional testing where applicable.
• Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and test reports are available upon request.

5. Delivery & Shipping

• Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. The Company is not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure events.
• Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier (FOB origin) unless otherwise agreed.

6. Returns & Warranty

• Returns are accepted only under the conditions described in our RMA Policy.
• Warranty period is 90 days from the date of delivery for defective or non-conforming parts.
• The Company's liability is limited to replacement or refund of the purchase price of the affected goods.

7. Export Compliance

All shipments are subject to applicable export control regulations. See our Export Compliance Policy. The buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with their local import laws and end-use restrictions.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the products. Total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods in question.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdictions in which the Company operates (Hong Kong SAR, China and Shenzhen, China). Disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation first, followed by arbitration if necessary.
