Quality & Inspection
Quality Policy
How Schontek verifies supply, manages quality risk and supports your inspection requirements.
Last updated: July 2026
Quality Principles
Schontek operates as an independent distributor. Our quality processes are designed to identify, communicate and mitigate the risks inherent in open-market procurement.
- Transparency — We clearly communicate source type, traceability status and available inspection options for every order
- Risk-Based Inspection — Inspection level is matched to source type, application criticality and customer requirements
- Documentation — Quality records, test reports and traceability documents are available upon request
- Continuous Improvement — Quality processes are reviewed regularly and updated based on industry best practices and customer feedback
Supplier Qualification
Every supplier in our network is evaluated before components are offered to customers. Our qualification process considers:
Company Verification
Business registration, physical address, trade references and financial standing
Quality History
Past order performance, return rates, counterfeit incidents and customer feedback
Documentation
Certificate of conformance, test reports, traceability records and RoHS/REACH compliance
Source Type
Authorized distributor, franchise, OEM excess, verified broker or open market
Source Grading
Schontek classifies every component offering by source type so customers can make informed procurement decisions.
Inspection Levels
Inspection options are selected based on source type and your application requirements. We recommend discussing inspection level with your engineering and quality teams.
